CryptoMesh VPN privacy policy
CryptoMesh VPN processes account and sign-in information; device and connection metadata needed to operate the service; subscription status; and privacy-minimized reliability reports. Beta participants also provide an experience rating, feedback category, written feedback, optional app version, and participation timestamps so eligibility can be enforced and the app can be improved.
Free users may optionally request a rewarded ad to receive a short cloud-VPN session. Mobile ads are delivered by Google AdMob, while desktop rewarded video is delivered by ayeT-Studios. No ad plays automatically, and paid or trial accounts are ad-free. When you request an ad, the selected advertising provider may process ad interactions, diagnostics, device or browser identifiers, and approximate location derived from your IP address according to your consent choices and its policies. CryptoMesh sends only an opaque, short-lived reward claim ID for server-side verification; it does not send browsing destinations, DNS queries, packet contents, tunnel keys, or VPN traffic metadata for advertising.
On Android, the optional trusted Wi-Fi feature requests Nearby Wi-Fi and precise location permission only while the app is open so Android can reveal the current network name. The app keeps trusted network names and a one-way network fingerprint on that device; it does not store location coordinates or transmit the network name or fingerprint to CryptoMesh.
CryptoMesh VPN does not intentionally store browsing history, destination IP traffic logs, DNS query history, or the contents of VPN traffic. Private device credentials remain on the device that created them.
Operational records are retained only as needed to provide access, prevent abuse, reconcile purchases, and meet legal obligations. You can revoke individual devices above or permanently delete the account and owned VPN records. Store subscriptions must be canceled separately through Apple or Google.
